Theme Change

Time to freshen up the blog a little. I've implemented a new theme titled "minimalist," but with a few changes of my own.

Notice anything different?

You probably can't tell, but I've upgraded to the newest version of Wordpress 2.7.something. I'm hoping to begin updating some during the summer.

NPR Internship

This love of Maroon 5 had me up early Sunday morning on eBay bidding for tickets. I shiver to think I now possess two lawn tickets to their July 28 concert in Raleigh. It won't be soon before long!

NPR Internship

This week marked my first as a summer intern for NC Public Radio's "The State of Things." Best part so far: I get my own cubicle. And you can tell you're at NPR from the way the office kitchen is stocked -- brie and baguettes instead of ancient Lean Cuisine meals and burned popcorn.

I just finished upgrading to the latest version of WordPress, a complicated process involving much frustration, yelling, cursing, and tears.

The Good GermanI didn't expect to see such stylistic film noir in a modern release. Despite the miscast Tobey Maguire, this manageable plot is well done, right down to the old-style 1.66:1 aspect ratio.3 elephants
